  • The Womb is a recording studio located in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes South of downtown Austin, TX.  The studio features Pro Tools HD and Logic Pro, boutique outboard gear, experienced engineers and musicians, and great sounding rooms at very competitive prices.  All of the acoustic treatment was built here by our staff and we decided to leave all of the wood unfinished giving the space a kind of DIY feel.  Most folks seem to think we did a pretty good job.  The Womb is founded on the basic principals that the recording process should be comfortable, creative, and transparent.  If you live outside of Austin and would like to spend some time recording at The Womb, we have sleeping accommodations for up to 8 people with a private bathroom and washer/dryer in the space above the studio. We offer this to out of town clients at no additional cost. We aim to make great records with good people. Give us a call and come check out the space.
